About the Chamber
The Netherlands-Canadian Chamber of Commerce, founded
in 1992, is a proactive, non-government, non-profit, voluntary
organization of companies and individuals representing members
with business, cultural, educational and other interest in and
between Canada and the Netherlands.
Mission
Statement
The Netherlands-Canadian Chamber of Commerce mission is to
foster a strong, competitive, and profitable economic environment
that benefits not only business but all those concerned with
strong relations and ties between Canada and the Netherlands.
The Chamber further aims to provide an informal networking
environment for business, government, diplomatic, non-governmental,
academic and other individuals and organizations to meet and
discuss issues of interest in Dutch-Canadian trade and relations.
Objectives
- To provide a forum for ideas, opportunities, and personal
contacts which will facilitate greater bilateral trade, technology
transfer, services and investment between the Netherlands
and Canada.
- To provide information and assistance to Canadian companies
interested in doing business in the Netherlands and Dutch
firms seeking business opportunities in Canada.
- To preserve, protect and advance the interest and
opinions of its membership with the governments of the Netherlands
and Canada.
- To foster greater understanding between the business
and social communities in both countries.
- To support other interest groups which can help further
achieve the Chamber’s objectives.
Members
The Chamber represents business of every size across a comprehensive
spectrum of activities, including managing directors of multinational
corporations, small and medium-sized companies as well as
government officials, business professionals, hi-tech and
other entrepreneurs brought together with the common purpose
of fostering trade and addressing related issues while facilitating
contact between Canada and the Netherlands.
