This year’s the Business of the Year Award went to Mammoet Holding BV.The award, presented by David McNamara (Canadian Embassy) was accepted on behalf of Mammoet by Herman Smit, (director Mammoet Canada Western Ltd.).
Following a long and time-honoured tradition, during the Annual Luncheon we will present the Busin ess of the Year Award, which goes alternately to a Canadian and Dutch Company. Companies with offices in both Canada and the Netherlands are judged on their contribution to the Dutch-Canadian business development and national economies. Some of last years winners are Fugro, Nort el, Hendrix Genetics and CN Worldwide (2008). Runner-up in 2009 is Van Leeuwen Buizen. The winner and runner-up, Van Leeuwen Buizen, were announced during the Annual Luncheon.
