The NCCC in cooperation with the foreign Bankers Association organized a high profile event focussing on the credit crunch in North America. At that point we could not have foreseen the enormity of the impact of subprime mortgages and the ensuing credit crunch. We were able to secure top-notch speakers from the financial arena and the event was visited by more than 70 representatives of both the banking and non/banking industry.

This was the 16th time the NCCC organized the Annual Golf Tournament. As tradition prescribes, it was held at the Koninklijke Haagsche Golf en country Club in Wassenaar.

Nov 12, 2010 - Annual Luncheon

Seventy NCCC members and their guests attended an excellent luncheon, sponsored by Petro/Canada, at Societeit De Witte in Den Haag, to hear Premier Ed Stelmach of the Province of Alberta speak about the opportunities offered by his province´s steadily expanding economy and excellent quality of life.

Business of the Year Award

During the Annual Luncheon the NCCC presented the Business of the Year Award 2008. the award, presented by H.E. Jim Wall, Canadian Ambassador to the Netherlands, was accepted on behalf of CN Worldwide by Anita Ernesaks, global managing director of CN Worldwide.
